First Gold is on Main Street on the far north end of Deadwood.  First Gold offers a 24-hour casino, 200 room hotel, buffet, deli and onsite parking.  First Gold is within a few blocks of downtown Deadwood.

First Gold Hotel

The First Gold Hotel offers about 200 guest rooms, many are in the Travelodge building.  The guest rooms include free internet access, meeting rooms, banquet facilities and is pet friendly.  Room trims include two queens or one king. There are four suites. Two have one king. The others offer two queens.

Off season rates are as low as $54 weekdays and $74 weekends.  Summer rates are typically $109 on weekdays and $129 on weekends.  These rates can vary greatly, especially during the Sturgis Biker Rally. Smoking rooms are available.

First Gold Dining

First Gold offers the Gold Nugget Buffet where breakfast, lunch and dinner are available.  Breakfast and lunch are $11. Breakfast includes an egg and omelet bar and typical sides. Lunch offers chicken as the main protein and a variety of other dishes, soups and salads.

Dinner (Sun-Thur) is $18.  Dinner includes USDA Choice prime rib.  Weekend night dinner is $29 and includes all you can eat crab legs.

First Gold Deli is also available.  The First Gold Deli offers snack bar items such as hamburgers, hot dogs and fried foods.

First Gold Table Games

First Gold has two blackjack games.  One game is a six-deck shoe, the other game is a double deck pitch.  Both games have the same rules. Players may double down before or after splitting. The dealer hits soft 17. The bet limit for the six-deck game is $5 to $100. The double deck has $10 to $100 limits.

Three Card Poker and Mississippi Stud are also offered.  Three Card Poker has $5 to $100 limits. Mississippi Stud accepts bets from $2 to $10.

First Gold Slot Machines

First Gold offers both video slots and old-fashioned reel slots.  Denominations start at penny and run up to $1 slots.

First Gold Video Poker

First Gold offers several video poker machines.  Most of the games offer low paybacks, typical of Deadwood.  The best game is 9/5 Double Double Bonus (97.87%).  Other video poker games include 8/5 Bonus Poker Deluxe (97.4%), 9/5 Triple Double Bonus (97.02%), Bonus Poker (96.87%), 7/5 Jacks or Better (96.14%), 9/6/4 Double Bonus (96.4%), 7/5 Double Double Bonus (95.71%), 20/12 Deuces Wild (95.96%).
