Comfort Inn – Deadwood Mini Golf
Deadwood Mini Golf is anchored by a Comfort Inn hotel. It is located south of town on Highway 85 South. This is a convenient hotel for winter sports enthusiasts. The snowmobile trails and ski resorts are closer to this part of Deadwood.
The Comfort Inn offers an arcade, mini golf course and NASCAR Bar. There is also a shuttle on peak days that takes guests to Main Street to the sister property, the Bodega. If the shuttle is not running, the Deadwood Trolley is available for just $1. The Deadwood Trolley runs every 20-30 minutes. The front desk will know the increments as it depends on the day, time and season.
Comfort Inn Hotel
The Comfort Inn has 71 rooms that were remodeled after a flood in 2018. Guest rooms include wireless internet. Some rooms offer a microwave and mini fridge. Amenities include indoor pool, exercise room and business center. Off season rates start around $60 for weekdays and $80 for weekends. Summer rates are around $130 for weekdays and $150 on weekends.
Phat Owl Lounge
The Phat Owl Lounge is on the first floor beyond the front desk. It offers a full bar. There is also a small menu featuring nachos, pizza and hot dogs.
Deadwood Mini Golf Park
In addition to the indoor arcade, which is open year-round, there is an outdoor amusement area that features mini golf. The price for teens and adults is $8.50 per game. Children 5 through 12 pay $7.50. Children 4 and under are free. Deadwood Mini Gold is open from May to November, weather permitting. The go-karts, bumper boats and other outside attractions are no longer available on the property.
The outdoor attractions are only open during the summer with the exception of the mini golf which is open weather permitting in the fall and spring.
Comfort Inn Deadwood Casino
The Comfort Inn in Deadwood no longer has a Deadwood-style casino. The slots and video blackjack machine found here for years are gone.
The Comfort Inn now spreads two banks of video lottery machines. The typical video poker and keno games are available. Video lottery may only be played from 7am to 2am daily. The maximum returns under state law is 92 percent on the games. Tickets may be taken to the front desk or bar for redemption.
