Deadwood is a historic city in the South Dakota Black Hills. It is known for its gambling these days. These are some of the casinos and hotels in town.

Deadwood Gulch is located near the city limits of Lead. It sold in January 2021. The hotel is expected to reopen around March 1. The casino is expected to return around July 1.
First Gold is the first major casino Deadwood visitors see when arriving from Sturgis. It is home to slots, video poker, keno and live blackjack.
Gold Dust has two casinos on opposite sides of Main Street. Players will find slot, video poker, blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, roulette, Three Card Poker, as well as video craps and blackjack. There is also a hotel.
Hickok’s is a small casino near Outlaw Square on Main Street. It has 59 slots, including a few video poker machines, video blackjack and video Three Card Poker. A historic hotel is on the property.
Mineral Palace has a hotel and steakhouse. Gaming options include slots, video poker and keno. There is also double deck blackjack, six-deck blackjack, roulette and Three Card Poker.
Saloon No. 10 is a bar with a few slots and some table games. Players may choose between the only 3:2 single deck blackjack game in Deadwood, six-deck blackjack, Three Card Poker and a live poker room. There is a restaurant upstairs.
The Silverado and Franklin Hotel are sister properties. The two casinos are at the top of Main Street in Deadwood. The hotel is over 100 years old. Casino games include slots, video poker, keno, live craps, roulette, six-deck blackjack, Three Card Poker, High Card Flush and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The Franklin is home to an exceptional steakhouse.
The Super 8 is towards the edge of town on the Lead side. It has slots and video blackjack. A few of the slots operate on $1 coins. These are Top Dollar machines.
The Lodge at Deadwood is near Mount Roosevelt on the northern edge of town on the way to Spearfish. It is a full-service resort. A hotel and two restaurants are on the property. There is a live poker room, table game pit and slots. The best video poker pay tables in Deadwood are found at The Lodge.
Tin Lizzie in on Main Street. It is home to three restaurants and a Hampton Inn hotel to go with its large casino floor. Table games include craps, roulette, blackjack, Mississippi Stud and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. A second hotel is under construction.
